
Dr. James & Janie Washington Cultural Center
Located in Seattle’s Central District, the Washington Cultural Center includes the historic home and art studio of world-famous artist, poet, and sculptor Dr. James W. Washington, Jr. & his wife Mrs. Janie Rogella Washington.
The James W. Washington Home is a member of Historic Artists’ Homes and Studios, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
